After a few years of dreadful weather, the sun finally shone down on the canal festival and meant that thousands of people got to enjoy a great weekend of entertainment.

Dog shows, falconry, clowns and a petting farm were among the attractions at the annual canal restoration fundraising event. There was great interest in the canal restoration with many visitors taking a walk or bus up to the restoration site to see Roger and the team in action
